What is padel ?

Padel, derived from tennis, is a fun and accessible sport for everyone! Originating from Spain, where it already enjoys great popularity, it is played by four people on a smaller court surrounded by glass walls and fences.

The balls can be played after bouncing off these surfaces, adding a strategic dimension to the game!

Padel combines elements of racket sports, such as tennis and squash, creating a disciplinary cocktail that has captivated countries in South America, Spain, and then Europe since its inception. In Argentina, it has become a national sport with over 4 million players, while in Spain, the number of players exceeded one million as early as the 1980s. Today, other European countries like France, Belgium, Italy, and England have also embraced this "city sport."

In France, thanks to its fun and technical nature, padel attracts many champions of racket sports, and in 2014, it was integrated into the French Tennis Federation (FFT)!
